Outdoor Lighting Services in Knoxville
New Age Lights installs Christmas and seasonal displays, JellyFish permanent lighting, Bosso smart lighting, and commercial and HOA lighting across the Knoxville area. Our crew is based in Oak Ridge and works in West Knoxville, Concord, Farragut, Hardin Valley, Karns, Powell and Maryville. We start with a free visit to measure the roofline, and the quote we give you is fixed. The cards below explain each service.
What we install in Knoxville
Christmas Lighting
We plan the display, hang commercial-grade lights fitted to your roofline, fix any section that goes out during the season, and take everything down and store it afterward. December here averages a high near 51°F and a low near 33°F, and winter is wet, so we fasten to the edge of the roof and use lights made to stay outdoors. Choose classic white or color. Installs are scheduled in the order they are booked.
JellyFish Lighting
JellyFish is a permanent light track fitted under the roofline and controlled from an app. It is energy-saving, affordable lighting you can run all year in many colors. We are an authorized JellyFish dealer. The track goes on most cleanly where the fascia is straight and the gutters are sound, which is the case on most newer houses in Hardin Valley and on much of Farragut, where homes date mostly from the 1980s on.
Bosso Smart Lighting
Bosso is the second permanent system we install. It has its own fixture and its own app, with millions of colors. On older houses in Sequoyah Hills, Bearden and Fountain City the roof edge does not always suit a track made for modern construction, so we look at the fascia, drip edge and gutter and tell you which of the two systems fits.
Commercial & HOA Lighting
We light storefronts, offices, entrances and HOA common areas, whether at Turkey Creek, around Market Square and Gay Street downtown, or along Kingston Pike in Bearden. Work is scheduled around your business hours: early, late or on a quiet weekday. If an HOA or a landlord has rules about fixtures, bring them to the visit and we design to them.
What you can do with permanent lighting
Accent Lighting
A permanent track can light just one part of the house, such as the front gable, a porch or the entry. You set the colors, patterns and brightness in the app. Where there is heavy tree cover, as in Sequoyah Hills, we plan the run around what can be seen from the street.

Holiday Lighting
A permanent track covers every holiday without anyone hanging lights. Use red and green in December, then change the colors for Halloween, Easter or the Fourth of July from the app. It also ends the ladder work on the two-story homes with steep roofs that are common in Hardin Valley.

Security Lighting
Lighting around the house at night makes would-be intruders think twice, and motion-sensing lights help scare them off. You can also run plain white light on a schedule you set in the app, whether you are home or not.

Builders can have permanent lighting installed during construction. We fit the channel before paint, keep the wiring hidden, and set up the app for the buyer. It is a good fit for the new subdivisions in Hardin Valley.

Service & takedown
If a section goes out, call (865) 264-0180 and we fix it. After the holidays we take seasonal displays down and store them.
