Benefits

Why choose commercial permanent lighting?

• Attract more people to your business • Make your business stand out after dark • No more hassle of putting up lights • Customize for events and holidays

Will putting permanent outdoor lighting on my building be expensive?

There is always an initial cost, but the ROI is well-worth it. LED lights are environmentally friendly and will save you A LOT on your energy bills compared to general lighting.

Outdoor lighting is only for homes, right? Could this actually help my business?

Many companies are taking advantage of permanent outdoor lighting to bring attention to their companies and accent the already beautiful architecture and layout of their locations. It can separate you from your competition. You can make a statement with how you present yourself and there is no better way than with commercial outdoor lighting.

How long does it take to install my lights?

Normally. It takes our team one day to install 150 linear feet.

Are the lights dimmable?

They sure are!

Who this is for

You run a storefront or restaurant competing with the unit either side of you after dark.

You manage offices, a campus or a medical building where the entrance needs to read well and nothing can close.

You sit on an HOA board and need entrances and common areas lit without blocking the only way in.

What is included

A site survey and a written quote covering the whole property

Installation scheduled around your trading hours, including early mornings and midweek

Larger frontages phased across several visits so nothing disrupts business

Commercial-grade product and fixings rated for the height and exposure

In-season service through the display period

Seasonal removal and storage, or a permanent system if you would rather stop rebooking

Design worked to any HOA, landlord or historic-district rules you bring us

How it works, step by step

01

Site survey

We walk the property, measure the frontage and note access, power and anything that limits when we can work.

02

Quote and schedule

You get one number for the property and a schedule built around your hours, agreed before anyone is booked.

03

Phased install

Long frontages go up across several visits. Entrances and access stay open throughout.

04

Service and removal

We handle faults during the season and removal afterwards, or leave a permanent system running year round.

Why hire a pro instead of doing it yourself

Commercial work is mostly a logistics problem. The lighting is straightforward. Doing it without costing you a trading day, at height, over an entrance customers are walking through, with the right access equipment and insurance, is the part that needs a professional crew. Retail cannot lose a December Saturday and an office does not want a lift outside reception at nine in the morning.

Scale is the other difference. A long frontage or a multi-building site needs a plan for phasing, a consistent look across elevations that were probably built at different times, and one point of contact who knows the whole property. Call (865) 264-0180 and we will come and survey it.

Permanent Outdoor Lighting: Create The Right Impression

Commercial and HOA lighting across the Knoxville metro

Commercial work here concentrates in a handful of places. Turkey Creek in Farragut is the metro’s big retail frontage, where a lit facade is competing with the unit either side of it. Downtown, Market Square and Gay Street already carry the city’s own display through December, the wrapped oaks, the tree on Gay Street, the Peppermint Trail underfoot, so an unlit storefront in the middle of that reads as closed. The Kingston Pike corridor through Bearden runs its own mix of independents and offices, and Oak Ridge’s Main Street sits alongside the federal employment that drives that end of the metro.

The practical constraint is almost never the design. It is access. Retail cannot lose a frontage on a December Saturday, offices do not want a lift outside reception at 9am, and an HOA needs its common areas and entrances done without blocking the only way in. So commercial installs get scheduled around your hours, early, late, or across a quiet weekday, and we agree that before anyone is booked.

HOAs get one extra step. If there are rules about fixture color, brightness or where a track may sit, bring them to the consult and we design to them rather than asking for an exception afterwards. The same applies to leased retail units where the landlord has a say in what gets fixed to the building.
