Is it possible to choose and create my own design?
Yes, it is! We can work with you to create the holiday lighting design you want to display, then install it perfectly based on your plan.
Will I need to be home during installation?
No. As long as you have an exterior power connection for us to hook the lights into, we can install your holiday lights while you’re away. However, you may prefer to be home – it’s completely up to you.
What type of lights can I choose from?
Our lighting sets are LED and can help you save energy while lasting for years on end. We also offer RGB lights that you can control. A simple remote will allow you to change the color of your display.

What a Knoxville Christmas install actually involves
December in East Tennessee is not a dry cold. The month averages a high near 51°F and a low near 33°F, and winter is the wettest season here, so a display goes up knowing it will spend six weeks wet, then freeze overnight, then thaw again. That cycle is what loosens cheap clips and cracks retail-grade sockets. We fix to the edge your house actually has, with product rated to stay where we put it, because the callback in late December is the expensive part for everyone.
The housing runs in two directions and they need different work. Older neighborhoods like Sequoyah Hills, one of the city’s first suburbs, developed in the 1920s and now with sections on the National Register, and Fountain City around the Gibbs Drive historic district have heavy tree cover and rooflines that were never designed with a lighting run in mind. Book the consult
Pick a time and point out what you want lit. We walk the property, measure the roofline and check the power. It is free and there is no obligation.

Approve the design
We show you the run, the color options and the price. We order nothing until you say yes, and the price we quote is the price you pay.

Install day
For most installs you do not need to be home. We install the lights, test every section and set the timer or app schedule before we leave.

Season, then takedown
If anything fails, call us. After the holidays we take the display down and store it, so it does not take up room in your garage.
Why hire a pro instead of doing it yourself
Height and roof pitch are the real problem. A two-story front with a steep pitch above a walkout is a long way up, which describes a lot of Hardin Valley, and the days you would be up there are cold, often wet and sometimes icy. Our crews work at that height routinely and bring the right access equipment. A homeowner on an extension ladder in December is in a different position.
The finish is the other half. A fitted run follows the lines of the house, turns where the roof turns and keeps the same spacing across the whole front. Retail strings come in fixed lengths, so they fall short or bunch up, and their sockets are not built for an East Tennessee winter that freezes at night and thaws by day. That is why a professional install still looks deliberate in January.
