If you want lights up for the same weekend the city switches on the Regal Celebration of Lights, get on the list well before then. Permanent lighting is different: that can go in outside the season, weather permitting.

It is the wet more than the cold that matters. December here averages a high near 51°F and a low near 33°F, and winter is the wettest season in this region, so a display gets soaked, freezes overnight and thaws again for weeks on end. That freeze-thaw cycle is what loosens cheap clips and splits retail-grade sockets. We use commercial-grade product and fix to the actual edge of your roof so it stays where we put it.

Yes, and it is worth planning for. Sequoyah Hills is a National Register historic district, and Fountain City has one around Gibbs Drive, so daytime appearance carries real weight there, the fixture needs to disappear when it is off, not just look good lit. Bring any rules your district or association applies to the consult and we design to them from the start rather than asking forgiveness afterwards.

Yes. Maryville is the second-largest city in the Knoxville metro and is well inside our range, along with the Blount County addresses around it. Being closer to the mountains it tends to get more weather than central Knoxville, so we favor fixings there that will still be holding in January over whatever goes on fastest in October.

Regularly. Bearden along Kingston Pike mixes early houses with modern infill, and Fountain City still has a lot of its early-twentieth-century stock. Older homes are not harder. They are just less uniform, the fascia, drip edge and gutter profile vary from house to house, sometimes along one street. That is exactly why we measure on site instead of quoting from an aerial photo.

Both are permanent outdoor lighting installed in a track under your roofline, and both are app controlled with a very large color range. They use different fixtures and control systems, so the right one depends on your roofline, the look you want and what your house can actually support. We bring both to the consult and tell you which we would fit here, and why.

Yes. That is the whole point of it. The track is a slim channel that reads as trim from the street, so there is nothing to take down. Run warm white for everyday, color through December, orange and white for a Saturday in autumn, or switch it off entirely. Seasonal string lighting is the opposite: it goes up for the season and comes back down.

No. We use clips matched to your specific edge, shingle, gutter or fascia, and we do not drive nails, staples or screws through roofing material. Permanent track is fastened along the fascia or drip edge, which is the same surface your gutters already hang from and is built to carry a load.

Yes. Seasonal packages include removal after the holidays and storage of your lights until the following year, so nothing takes up your garage and nothing gets crushed or tangled between seasons. When you rebook, the same set comes back out and goes up faster because we already have your measurements on file.

It depends on the linear footage, the roof height and access, and which product you choose, so we quote after measuring rather than before. The design consult and the quote are both free, and the quote is the number, not an opening position. If something would push the price up once we are on site, you hear it then, not on the invoice.
